A term paper (100 points) is due the Monday of the last week of classes. The subject should be on a tropical crop, preferably "horticultural." Other tropical topics will be accepted (such as tropical research centers, tropical gardens, tropical pest control, tropical weeds).
All students must submit a subject for approval.
References should be cited as necessary in the text and listed at the end of the paper. Pictures are desirable and acceptable if appropriate.
Term paper should be double spaced with 1" margin. Use 12 pt Times type. Number the pages. Length should be at least 7 pages, excluding the title page and illustrations. Include literature cited (Author - Year).

If you prefer to submit via emain, send a copy to awhipkey@purdue.edu. We will acknowledge receipt of your term paper by email. IF AFTER SEVERAL DAYS, YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN AN EMAIL STATING THAT WE HAVE RECEIVED YOUR PAPER, PLEASE RESEND IT UNTIL YOU DO. Keep a backup copy of your document and a printed copy.
